Welcome to the Year 1 class page!

In Year 1, your child will be taught by Mrs Moorcroft and supported by Mrs Distin-Webster and Miss Jacqui.

Spring Term 2

We have a very busy half term ahead of us!

Please see the Curriculum Overview below to find out what we will be learning this half term.

Below are just a few reminders to get us ready for the next 6 weeks!

P.E will be on a Tuesday with our Sports Coach. Please ensure your child has P.E kit in school and we will send it home at the end of the half term.

Homework will consist of Reading books, Phonics, Lexia and Numbots. Homework will be given out on Wednesdays and will need to be returned to school by the following Monday.

Teaching your child is a team effort and children benefit greatly from additional support from home. You can support your child by helping them to complete homework, spellings and by listening to them read daily. Please brings reading books to school EVERY DAY.

Snack – Please send your child in with a healthy snack. Water is available throughout the day.
