Mission Statement, Vision and Values
Our Mission Statement and our school vision is:
'Building a firm foundation for living and learning based on Christian values.'
As a Church school, we have a distinctive character where Christian values are promoted in all aspects of school life. The fruits of the Spirit sum up very well the ethos and values of Micklehurst All Saints CE Primary School. We believe it is vital that these building blocks are encouraged as a sound basis for learning, living and growing amongst our children.
'The fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness and self-control.' Galatians 5:22
Our vision is to help our pupils to develop in to well-rounded individuals who embody the fruits of the spirit and carry with them the knowledge, skills and attitudes which will make them lifelong learners and valuable future citizens.
Our special Christian identity is demonstrated in the values we share; these values hold a central place in our relationships with each other, in what we teach and in our aspirations for all the children. They drive our actions, policies and practices and we aim to embed them in all that we do in school.
