Intent, Implementation and Impact
At Micklehurst All Saints history teaching ignites a curiosity in our pupils to learn about how past events have shaped the present day as well as how different cultures and individuals have influenced and shaped Britain over time.
Through effective teaching and learning, from Nursery to Year 6, we equip our children to ask perceptive questions, think critically, weigh evidence, sift arguments, and develop perspective and judgement. Through a varied and engaging curriculum, we help our children to develop a deep understanding of history and strive to inspire children’s curiosity to understand more about the past.
